an early morning escapade...the sun was rising in the background while this twig and small starts craddle the snow...
This shows a 'new' shop in a corner of Cotignac. I say 'new' but it's not really as it was originally situated somewhere else in the village and it has moved to this prime location at the bottom of the Cours Gambetta at the heart of everything. Their previous location was almost hidden away in the Place de la Mairie so they must be delighted at this picturesque spot with that wonderful curving staircase. The interesting dress with bodice draws the eye every time you walk past which I think is the reason it's there; I doubt it's for sale. They're having an official opening party tomorrow evening. I left in the coloured glass at the top left as I would have lost the bottom of the stairs. That coloured glass is part of a new discreet deluxe hotel development in the village. The coloured panes of glass are actually solar panels on the top of the glass atrium. I think it's going to be a café/restaurant open to the public. I finished the photo in Lightroom with a Cinematic preset. :-)

Juste avant le confinement, nous sommes allés chez des amis en Pays d'Auge. Nous voici à Saint Jean le Thomas (Baie du Mont Saint Michel) . Grande balade vivifiante en bord de mer ..
Just before confinement, we went to see friends in the Pays d'Auge. Here we are in Saint Jean le Thomas (Bay of Mont Saint Michel). Great invigorating stroll by the sea.
