Protests in the streets of New York City on November 25, 2014, a day after a grand jury in Ferguson, MI declined to return an indictment in the police shooting of unarmed African-American teenager Michael Brown.
Peaceful, passionate, energised, noisy, good humoured musical and there was some break dance too.
A big, turnout, predominantly of the young. This is galvanising a generation. 99.9% wore masks throughout.

Watch some pigs murder an innocent man. I said it before and I'll say it again, Fuck Police! RIP Eric Garner.
From what I could tell, there were definitely hundreds of people and vehicles that showed up and it probably went well into the thousands by the starting time. This created an hours-long traffic jam on State Street into the Chicago Loop from 26th Street near the South Loop. Vehicles from out of state were also present, such as this one from Michigan.

Shortly after midnight tonight the very last protester crossed over the 59th Street Bridge and she walked slowly and with purpose all the while steadily holding her hands up in protest.
She held back an entire fleet of NYPD paddy wagons and squad cars as her fellow protesters continued on safely across the bridge, she never flinched, not once, even with all the sirens blaring and loud speakers telling her to move aside or risk arrest.

A street and a street sign near the White House in Washington DC were named Black Lives Matter Plaza today.
Where's the Black Panthers when you need them... oh that's right, they were murdered by the police too.
