The city tower of Erding also serves as bell tower of the St. Johann church. As a city tower it does feature a Türmerstube from where a duty guard was watching out for fires (or approaching enemies). The tower was built in the late 14th century, the roof was renewed in 1651.

Sankt Paul ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Erding in Oberbayern. In Ortsmitte befindet sich die Kirche St. Paul von 1699, ein barocker Saalbau mit eingezogenem halbrundem Chor von Hans Kogler. Daneben steht das ehemalige Mesnerhaus von 1567 als Rekonstruktion mit Teilen des Vorgängerbaus. Das klassizistische Leichenhaus im Friedhof stammt von 1827. (Q: Wikipedia)
