京都第一ホテル。部屋はきれいで快適ですが、ホテルの立地はいまいち。コンビニすら近くになく、まるでどこかの埋立地みたいな場所にあります。とはいえ、今日は風邪を引いているのであまり僕には関係ないのですが。
せっかくの秋の京都出張だというのに風邪は引くわ、三脚を忘れてくるわで全然写真がとれません。パノラマブラケットはカメラにつけっぱなしなので、意地になって、ありあわせの部品でペットボトルを三脚代わりにする治具を作り、室内だけはパノラマを撮りました。

それにしてもHuginのstitch能力はすごい。control pointの自動検出、全体の誤差を最小化するアルゴリズムの両方が高性能です。

This was shot to try out a new wide angle combination kindly lent by Seb . I actually needed many more pictures that would have been necessary because I didn't have the lens data of the combo and had to rely entirely on Hugin in the optimization process (which didn't work out with only ~40 pictures). After quite a few iterations, the result is not so bad notwithstanding some chromatic aberration.
