Before we leave Epping on the Saturday morning, the local priest holds a short service for us. This is our cross, taking pride of place at the front of the church.

In memory of Alexander EPPS, died March 27th 1881 aged 55 years

Also of Jane, wife of the above who died Jan 23rd 1898 aged 80.

Strange day, Muntjac everywhere in Epping Forest, probably saw 10+ different individuals on my walk, the majority spotted me first and ran off.
