I've been a ghost. It's feels like forever since I've had a moment to get out shooting, much less process any photos. This one is from a quick trip with Amy to the Discovery Point lighthouse for another 8 minute exposure with the Big Stopper. We had the beach pretty much to ourselves—only this sizeable pyre of driftwood as proof anyone had visited in a while. Too bad I didn't bring a match. The flames would have been spectacular!
I believe the structure to the right is the Westpoint NOAA weather station. It's surprising how valuable that stucture has become over the last few weeks — checking its webpage for wind speed and before sailing.
