My Still Sunday

Week 13 - Ephemera

edit based on Kim's preset 'Matterfact'

Be Still One Year

Month 1 - Top down

From my old photograph & postcard collection,

old stamps from my husband's postage stamp collection,

dried lavender ...

More from my Dad's odds and ends. This is apparently a Stirling silver charm from The Most Cheery Order of Merrythoughts which were sold by the Daily Chronical to raise money for children's charities in the 1930s. There is one in the British Museum apparently. On the back is an issue number and address in EC4 to return it to if lost. The idea you would have it on your key ring and it would always be returned.

It rained all day, then cleared for just a moment. The rainbow disappeared in a few minutes as more clouds rolled in. I was fortunate to grab enough shots to create this panorama.

I love sharing vintage ephemera, especially children’s art. Please feel free to copy any of these vintage images. I would also love to see any finished work that you have done. Best Wishes, Shelece

The hydrangeas are ephemeral. The snow is ephemeral. That's the beauty of it all.

See more on my blog.

A was found discarded on the sidewalk on Sunday morning outside the Methodist church. Poor thing was barely breathing.

One of my favourite bits of ephemera.
