For this week's Macro Mondays challenge "award" I went with my EPA 2010 award. When I was working for Daimler Trucks North America I worked on a project for the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) called 2010 which was to reduce the air pollution coming out of the tail pipe of our semi trucks. Part of this project required a catalytic converter to remove the unused fuel and to remove the black soot coming out of the exhaust.
This award is made of glass and shows the laser-etched after-treatment device that was used to accomplish this goal.

This is shot 2 if the view from Mount Washington, a suburb of Los Angeles. You can see Mt. Baldy with it's top covered in snow. Trust me when I tell you how rare blue sky & white puff clouds are in the Los Angeles basin.
