I am not a Catholic myself, but I enjoy spiritual places of all faiths.
I have not looked for it this year. This poppy field I encountered on our short trip from Usedom to Greifswald. Logically, I had to stop and try me here. I just like this mess.

We are lucky to live somewhere you can get a nice sunset whilst not traveling out of our area. This is one of the remaining Victorian Shelters in Southport with the Marine Way Bridge in the background. Stay safe everyone and have a good weekend.
Denali National Park and Preserve is an American national park and preserve located in Interior Alaska, centered on Denali, the highest mountain in North America. The park and contiguous preserve encompass 6,045,153 acres (9,446 sq mi; 24,464 km2) which is larger than the state of New Hampshire. On December 2, 1980, 2,146,580-acre (3,354 sq mi; 8,687 km2) Denali Wilderness was established within the park. Denali's landscape is a mix of forest at the lowest elevations, including deciduous taiga, with tundra at middle elevations, and glaciers, snow, and bare rock at the highest elevations.
I looked out the window and saw the mountains had got some snow. Fortunately I only had to go out into my front yard to take this photo. It was a bit dull and hazy but with a little help from Photoshop I put a little Pop into it.
I haven't been on Flickr much at all in the past month or so. I have had to devote time elsewhere. I'm going to try to play catch up over the weekend holidays and see what I have missed from everyone I follow.
May everyone have a Merry Christmas and stay warm. Unless you're in the southern hemisphere. In that case be cool!! :-)
It's again the Festival of Lights in Berlin. Hm not in my photo. I was there too early! No, it is intended that way! I didn't feel like taking pictures of the illuminated buildings today!
The Brandenburg Gate. You know that, a classic.

I took a bunch of photos that evening. Here's one of the better ones. I tried to get the best balance of the beautiful sky and the valley as to how it looked to my eyes without getting it too bright.
久しぶりに訪れた原村。
その帰り道にふとミラーを見ると夕焼けに染まった八ヶ岳が見えました。
Haramura visited after a long absence.
On the way back, I suddenly looked at the mirror and saw Yatsugatake dyed in the sunset.
