We don't have mist here very often. It was a wonderful surprise for us to find it in that valley of Perputxent (a strange name, isn't it?).

A non-native plant in the UK that is now a well established garden escape. Pale, mauve-blue, fragrant flowers unfold like ferns at the top of long leafy stems and attracts bees from miles around.

I didn't have the camera ready for burst photography so I only had one chance of catching the bird in the reflection of the sun as it flew past in front of me. No editing.

It was early in the morning. There was a low sun on the left that backlighted the scene. The bird was a bit too dark, but just there is where a photo editor can help you and enhance the picture.

 

Se ve que no era la primera vez que practicaba el ejercicio, pues se le veía muy tranquilo. La verdad es que no lo vi yo, lo vio un compañero de fotografía. Éramos tres y ya te puedes imaginar el concierto de obturadores que provocó el pájaro.

 

Era la primera vegada que anava en aquella marjal i va ser una casualitat total. La llum no era la millor, però l'editor d'imatges ajuda un munt.

That sunrise was a great one. Those are Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lenses- You can take a big sun picture with them.

Parecen negras, pero cuando les da la luz del sol con el ángulo adecuado, se pueden apreciar estos colores.
