A lot of farmers around Munich are now using the blue or purple tansy (Phacelia) as a sustainable cover crop. I enjoy these flowers when everything else is wilting in October.

Akhtar Hossain, 42. CNG taxi driver.

While riding his CNG on my way to work, I noticed some branches with green leaves attached to the door of the taxi. I thought he must have cut those from a tree and attached them here - indeed, the summer heat is unbearable!! As I gave a closer look, I found those are real plants! Planted in small plastic bottles with soil in them!

I asked him why he planted those in the CNG. "These ARE oxygen", he said.

I couldn't ask him any more questions. My 'educated' mind bowed to this extraordinary man, who is nothing but a mere taxi driver to us.

This part of Norway is known for its high heaven. Today I felt that this showed especially good. The sun shines on the lower part of the sky as the rain comes in from above. I moved in and out of the rain as I drove along the coast. I hope the windmills give a certain impression of the altitude. FYI the windmills is about 125 meter tall, from ground to the tip of the blade.

Copenhagen is the capital and largest city of Denmark, with an urban population of 1,1 mil. Copenhagen is situated on the islands of Zealand and Amag.

Copenhagen is a major regional centre of culture, business, media, and science, as indicated by several international surveys and rankings. Life science, information technology and shipping are important sectors and research & development plays a major role in the city's economy. Its strategic location and excellent infrastructure with the largest airport in Scandinavia located 14 minutes by train from the city centre, has made it a regional hub and a popular location for regional headquarters as well as conventions.

Copenhagen has repeatedly been recognized as one of the cities with the best quality of life. It is also considered one of the world's most environmentally friendly cities. The water in the inner harbour is so clean that it can be swum in, and 36% of all citizens commute to work by bicycle, every day cycling a total of 1.1 million km. Since the turn of the millennium, Copenhagen has seen a strong urban and cultural development and has been described as a boom town. This is partly due to massive investments in cultural facilities as well as infrastructure and a new wave of successful designers, chefs and architects.

Cow dung is used primarily as a fertilizer. In recent times, the dung is collected and used as bio-gas which is used to generate electricity and heat. The gas is a rich source of methane and is used in rural areas of India to provide a renewable, stable and environment friendly source of electricity. Uple (Caked Cow Dung) is also used as a fuel to cook food in many parts of Asia and Africa.

Copenhagen is the capital city of Denmark; best thing I liked about the city is that nearly 40% of the population ride bicycles.. they go to work by cycling..

Even I rented a bicycle for a couple of days and had a great fun riding it around the city.
