None is travelling
here along this way but I,
this spring evening.
The first days of May:
thoughts come - perhaps loneliness;
now twilight is here.

We all are part of nature. We was made by nature and she will unmade us as well. For the time in between she provides us enlightment, inspiration and relaxation. On places like this you can feel her's divinity. And ours...

... "Remember, all I'm offering is the truth – nothing more." - Morpheus, The Matrix
Enlighted by light, does it make sence? How many things were invented at night, light bulb perhaps? Lighted by enlightment, they found how to create light, later how to capture it. Enlighted by light, it does make sence.
In buddhism, the prevalent religion where this photograph was taken, the other shore refers to enlightenment and crossing to the other shore refers to the spiritual journey from ignorance and suffering to enlightment.
Lake Léman (lake Geneva if you prefer...) as seen on a sunny late afternoon of December from Lavaux vineyards. Bottoms up!

Maybe the place is right behind the next tree, maybe few more steps before the enlightment. Don't worry about huge obstacle in front of you. It casts scary shadow, but it have no movement. The obstacle will give you focus to move around. The focus for few more steps...

Close up of a pink lotus flower in low key.
Lotus flower is a flower full of symbolism in many religions, specially Hinduism and Buddhism.. It is able to emerge from murky waters everyday, every morning, beautiful and clean, like a metaphor of purity and enlightment...
I took this picture in Ubud, Bali. In Sanskrit, Bali means "Wali" or offering, and Balinese streets are always full of offerings giving thanks for what people get.. Nature also seems to follow the path....
The Stupa of Enlightenment in Benalmádena, Andalucia at 33 m (108 ft) high is the tallest stupa in Europe. It was inaugurated on 5 October 2003, and was the final project of Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche.
In Buddhism, a stupa is a monument which represents peace, prosperity and harmony, as well as being a place for meditation. Benalmádena Stupa (Chan Chub Chorten in Tibetan) symbolizes Buddha's enlightenment, the realisation of the nature of mind, and is one of the eight different forms that stupas are built. Whereas stupas are typically sealed structures, the Benalmádena Stupa is unusual as there is a 100 square metre meditation room and a room that can be used for exhibitions about Tibetan Buddhism and Himalayan culture inside the structure. From a viewpoint close to Wheeldon Trees and looking towards Glutton Dale the sun finally burst through the clouds to light up the fields below as squally showers blew all around me. High Wheeldon is the summit to the left of the image.

The rain falls cold on the road of exile
On the refugees souls.
Who is he now, who was he back home?
A life half dead
By memories of his identity?
A disconnect from self and from his people?
Where is the light promised by modernity (Enlightment)
The rain falls cold on the road of exile

Satori is the state of sudden indescribable intuitive enlightenment
Collin's Dictionary
Satori (悟り) (Chinese: 悟; pinyin: wù; Korean: 오 o; Vietnamese: ngộ) is a Japanese Buddhist term for awakening, "comprehension; understanding". It is derived from the Japanese verb satoru.
In the Zen Buddhist tradition, satori refers to the experience of kenshō, "seeing into one's true nature". Ken means "seeing," shō means "nature" or "essence".
