I felt like playing around with some light painting. Not a project, strictly casual.
Shot on X-T2 with a 16-55/2.8 at 35 (I think). The camera was controlled over wifi with an iPhone. The lighting was a simple videographer's LED panel.
The lenses were laid down on the back of a Mac, the background is just the LED painting into the shot.
The whole thing was done on a coffee table.
Edited in Enlight on an iPad (crop and a couple of patches). Ghetto setups are always fun. :)

Thought I’d give this one the ageing treatment. Shame about the satellite dish.
Lockdown images from my one walk a day.....
12th week of lockdown over, and the final shot from this gateway (for now).
As of tomorrow we can travel further afield to take our walks.
A bit dull still today, though we’ve had some lovely mornings in the week. Decided to try a phone shot for a bit of variety, and I have brightened it up a bit on Enlight.
Highlights of my week -
Mowed the lawn.
Weeded the garden.
Started decorating and wish I hadn’t.
Became old overnight and started drawing my Old Age Pension.
Finished watching the whole of the original Star Trek on Netflix.
Th officers' mess or social hall was the recreation hall for the workers and their families. It contained a bar, pool billiard tables, a dance floor and so on. It was the center of social life on a the island. It was destroyed during a fire in 1964. Perspective correction done with SKRWT. Black and White Conversion with Enlight.

Close to home.
Sometimes a picture comes out looking terrible but there’s an essence in there - in this case that bit of sunlight on the path. I think this is probably the heaviest I have ever edited any of my images. I had a lot of fun doing this on Enlight - I was going to delete the original but it’s salvaged and that few moments of light would never have been exactly the same again.
As Adobe is discontinuing Photoshop touch, Enlight took its place on my iPhone. For this photo, I used masks, HDR, curves and denoise in Enlight.

Never thought I would go to a cemetery to photograph :) But the Mirogoj cemetery in Zagreb, Croatia, especially the main building and chapel, are worth a visit. They are partially overgrown. It looks somehow weird and if it the building was abandoned.

Winter walks at Ashridge.
Decided to give this the Enlight treatment.
Feeling a bit deflated today, having been removed from a Flickr group. No idea why, but I must have inadvertently broken one of their rules. It’s like being back at school when no one wants you on their team. Oh well - it’s best to avoid pedants, they’re bound to get your back up at some point.
