"EMIRATES 110" from Malta on final 22.

A preserved inland waterways tug, built for L. Smit & Co’s Internationale Sleepdienst.
This little harbour tug was the only one in the fleet to carry the blue-on-black funnel of the oceangoing tugs.
She was stationed at Maassluis to assist the big tugs.
Today, this tug is back again in Maassluis and has been fully restored to her 1948 looks.
The owner is Mr. Luuk Vroombout, director of Alphatron, a marine electronics firm.
Launched 22/11/1948, and completed on 10/02/1949, by NV Scheepswerf "Zorg & Vlijt" v/h Gebr. de Haas - Maassluis, Netherlands (86)

A previously German owned, veteran, inland waterway vessel, formerly a dry cargo freighter.
Built as a sailing ship.
Converted to motor freighter in 1959.
Later, 2002 onwards, converted to a sailing passenger ship.
Now operating in the Rotterdam area as a charter event/party ship.
Licenced for 125 passengers.

As part of the Brisbane Meet of the Australian Beading Forum we created a charm challenge for our December meet.
The challenge was to make 15 charms no bigger than 1 inch using the colours green, purple, silver, gold or bronze.
In my continued obsession with spirals I couldn't go past a miniature Eni Oken spiral pendants, 1 inch big with 2.5mm swarovski's and seed beads
