Global automotive retail consulting firm, Urban Science, announced its commitment to building a $1 million endowment to support the Col. Gregory Gadson Scholarship at the Wayne State University College of Engineering in perpetuity. Designed by Maxwell Fry , a Wallasey born & Liverpool trained architect , this Liverpool University engineering department building dates from 1959 . The eastern facade is windowless and bears the names of famous engineers in history.
Viewed from the bikestands on Creyke Road - the Mushroom is on the right and in the winter evening sun casts its shadow on the Engineering Library building.
PNNL researcher Jason Fuller described PNNL power grid research at the new Systems Engineering Building. The facility arms researchers and industry to tackle top energy challenges with a unique suite of capabilities, including power grid and buildings control rooms, specialized laboratories, real-time grid data and access to advanced computation.

R & A is a world-class classic car restoration operation. The location is on a beautiful old dairy farm a few miles outside of town. These custom made containers are designed to hold the oil filter in a classic car's engine compartment. I didn't hear who manufactures them.

Kallani( the Grand Anicut)
It was built by the Chola king Karikala Chola around the 2nd Century AD and is considered one of the oldest water-diversion or water-regulator structures in the world, which is still in use. It still stands as a symbol of Dravidian Engineering.
