A light morning mist took the edge off the morning suns' harsh light and allowed the lush spring greenery to fill the air with its colour. A moment from one of the most wonderful spots in Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire.
Within this life there are times when we are locked into something. Other times we are fully open. I know this metaphor can apply to many things.
This is a bit different from my usual fence shot but it had something I liked.

Not feeling very engaged with anything at the moment...into week 2 of a 'stinky cold'...my head feels like its going to explode...tissues and menthol lozenges are on hand...hoping i'll feel slightly more normal soon!!

My Baby - actually my oldest daughter but still my baby to me - got married! It was very hard not to have a camera in my hands during the wedding. (This is one of the engagement shots I took last summer.) ❤️

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. She just raised her phone to make a call as I clicked the shutter but I decided to keep the shot - normally I won't photograph someone making a phone call unless there is an especially poignant story in the shot. I love the catch lights in her eyes and the engagement ring on her hand fits into the 'engaged' narrative that came to me for the phone call. Enjoy!
