Stumbled upon this heart warming scene. A photographer capturing the biggest moment in this young couple's life.
Out of respect to the couple's privacy, my focus was centered on the photographer, who was fully 'engaged' in preserving their magical moment.
A light morning mist took the edge off the morning suns' harsh light and allowed the lush spring greenery to fill the air with its colour. A moment from one of the most wonderful spots in Barnes's Grove, Buckinghamshire.

Érigé à Omaha Beach (Calvados) pour le 60e anniversaire du D-Day, Le monument commémoratif Les Braves a été créé par Anilore Banon en 2004.
Cet ensemble monumental est composé de trois sculptures : « Les ailes de l’espoir », « Debout la liberté ! » et « Les ailes de la Fraternité ».
On June 6, 1944, 156,115 Allied soldiers and paratroopers were engaged in Normandy. The D-Day has just taken place. At Omaha Beach, 34,250 American soldiers disembark. 2,500 were killed in one day.
Built in Omaha Beach, Calvados, for the 60th anniversary of D-Day, The Braves Memorial was created by Anilore Banon in 2004.
This monumental ensemble is composed of three sculptures: “The Wings of Hope”, “Standing Liberty!” and “The Wings of Brotherhood”.
Within this life there are times when we are locked into something. Other times we are fully open. I know this metaphor can apply to many things.
This is a bit different from my usual fence shot but it had something I liked.

My Baby - actually my oldest daughter but still my baby to me - got married! It was very hard not to have a camera in my hands during the wedding. (This is one of the engagement shots I took last summer.) ❤️

So, I'm kind of behind in my uploading, but this kind of news needs to be announced! I'll get back to my regular uploading schedule soon. :)
In the meantime, we're engaged! Joey surprised me with a very excited proposal and a gorgeous ring tonight before we went out to dinner. It was so sweet. :) He designed the ring with the help of the jeweler down the street, and I really couldn't have designed a better ring for myself if I had tried. It's a band (which I wanted) with sapphires (I didn't want diamonds) and a star in the middle. While it's pretty and everything, the more important thing about it to me is that he designed it and knew exactly what I'd like. It really shows how thoughtful he is, and how much he knows and loves me.
We went to dinner at our favorite sushi restaurant, and coincidentally were seated at the table we sat at on our first date. That was nearly three years ago, and it was so nice to reminisce. We told the sushi chef and waitress and they were so excited and gave us hugs and extra food and ice cream. They are so awesome. :)
Happiest woman in the world right now. That's me. I get to spend the rest of my life with the coolest person I know. :D
And I'm adding this to TOTW because how many movies are about being engaged/married?! Seriously! So many. It totally works ... :) Plus, so many of my favorite Flickr people play TOTW, so yeah, I want to share my happy news with you guys and gals! :)
