My fascination with Mount Pilchuck continues. The shape of this peak from where I view it is so beautiful. This photo was taken near sunset, during the "Golden Hour". The shadows are particularly revealing in that they highlight the detailed shape of this mountain.
Mount Pilchuck has an elevation of 5341 ft (1628 m). It is about 31 miles (51 km) from where the camera was located. To put it in perspective, the tree line in the foreground is about 3 miles (5 km) away from the camera.

Note: I just made a print of this photo on metallic paper. Wow!!! In case you aren't aware of metallic paper, it has a silvery look to it. Kodak Endura is an example of this sort of paper, but there are others that make it as well. It isn't the right kind of paper for most images, but for the ones that it works well with, it can be amazing!!!

A Cardona, entre el castell i el barri de la Coromina, tot i que no sé fins a quin punt forma part d'aquest, es troben aquests pisos completament abandonats, part de la Colonia Manuela vinculada a la mineria de la sal.
No sé si l'enderroc de la veina industria Salinera de Cardona també s'els endurà per endavant...

In Cardona, between the castle and La Coromina neighborhood there are these completely abandoned flats, part of the Colonia Manuela housing,linked to the now mostly abandoned salt mining.
I don't know if the demolition of the neighboring Salinera de Cardona industry will also take them away...

Recently repainted underpass, Welwyn Hertfordshire. Some kids had set fire to a motorbike down there last year. The underpass had remained virtually untouched apart from the obligatory graffiti, for nearly 100 years.

Tot i que a penes circulen carboners del Port de Tarragona a Samper, l'activitat ferroviària al port té altres tipus de carregaments, com els cereals o els siderúrgics. A la foto, el 'mabi' treu un tall de vagons bobiners d'una de les naus camí de la estació de classificació, on una locomotora de línia se l'endurà a on correspongui.
Aunque a penas circulan carboneros del Puerto de Tarragona a Samper, la actividad ferroviaria al puerto tiene otros tipos de cargamientos, como los cereales o los siderúrgicos. En la foto, el 'mabi' saca un corte de vagones bobineros de una de las naves camino de la clasificación, donde una locomotora de línea se lo llevará a donde corresponda.

This beautiful 1968 Pontiac Bonneville had a great two tone paint job that made it really stand out. This great looking vehicle was on display at the 2015 Back to the Bricks car show held in Baldwin City Kansas.
1968 was a great year for Pontiac. In that year, Pontiac introduced several great looking vehicles that consumers really embraced. In fact, Pontiac set a sales record in 1968, with 910,977 Pontiacs rolling down the assembly line. The division also won their fourth Motor Trend “Car of the Year” Award, which General Motors greatly appreciated.
The 1968 Pontiac Brougham Bonneville models were great looking cars and featured a new 340-hp V8 engine along with exceptional riding comfort. The Bonneville Brougham 4-door hardtop and Bonneville Brougham hardtop models proved to be very popular.
Other 1968 Pontiacs included the popular Bonneville, Executive, Ventura and Catalina models. They were produced under the design direction of the late Bill Mitchell. It should also be noted that designer Bill Porter developed Pontiac's twin nostril Endura grille as its identity symbol for 1968. Some automotive historians have said the Endura bumper was one of the great styling innovations of all time because it permitted designers to blend the bumper into their frontal styling look.
