I had a great hiking tour around River Werre tonight. The last six weeks have been sunny with hardly a cloud in the sky. Perfect for being outside, living in the countryside I can take advantage of this, despite the lockdown situation. It must be hard for people in bigger cities who have less luck. Looks like we will have some rain next week and we desperately need it, although February and the first half of March were very wet we had no significant rainfall since then. This Western meadowlark had no end to his song. He sang non-stop as I drove up, photographed him, and kept singing as I drove on. Is he singing to attract a mate or marking his territory?
