Lowly bird at Watson Lake. The Temperatures are reaching the 90's and there is an influx of people from Phoenix and elsewhere to escape the heat. Prescott is usually about 20 degrees cooler on average. I have been told it's a dry heat, but so is a blast furnace. I stepped out of the shade for this one. This was photoshopped to remove dirt and twigs.

“Even in the modern era, there are an estimated 40 million slaves worldwide.” Since the woke communists decry slavery, how come they aren’t protesting against slavery in the various African and Middle Eastern nations involved in the slave trade? They should protest in these nations and ask for reparations. What about the communist gulags, which were slave labour camps? How many people died in communist slave labour camps? The communist outlook: the ends justify the means. Therefore, communism has no problems with slavery. They just use slavery as a front to propel their communist revolution forward.

The complex was commissioned by Adriano Olivetti in 1959 to architect Alberto Galardi. The architect with the support of structural calculations by Antonio Migliasso worked on it until 1962, the year of its inauguration. For over twenty years, it housed the laboratories and research of the Italian pharmacological products company Marxer. After undergoing several changes of ownership, it has been gradually abandoned since the early 1990s. Guarded for several years, and subject to numerous recovery projects that were never realised, in 2018 it was vandalised by a rave. It is still considered an important example of Italian Brutalist architecture.
