I am surrounded by natural leaves at home in my house and garden, but had trouble finding any man-made ones! I'm hoping that this bit of embroidery by my Aunty Gertie many years ago will do, even though it's "woman-made" - HSoS!

I saw this idea somewhere... And then I saw it a few other places. Now I can't remember where it originated (if I ever knew).
Chinese silk embroidered picture purchased in 1965 in Hong Kong. Used for Macro Mondays theme. "stitch."
If anyone can translate the writing it would be appreciated.
