HSS....

HMM......... this is my choice- a colorful possibility for the Macro Mondays group’s theme of circles for 4/19.

this portion measures 1 and 3/4th inches at its widest/tallest

I am surrounded by natural leaves at home in my house and garden, but had trouble finding any man-made ones! I'm hoping that this bit of embroidery by my Aunty Gertie many years ago will do, even though it's "woman-made" - HSoS!

Yangshuo China - Silk Embroidered Art

I saw this idea somewhere... And then I saw it a few other places. Now I can't remember where it originated (if I ever knew).

Chinese silk embroidered picture purchased in 1965 in Hong Kong. Used for Macro Mondays theme. "stitch."

 

If anyone can translate the writing it would be appreciated.

This is the club crest for the team that I follow, Newcastle United Football Club, and the embroidered stitch is far more appealing than the transfers they now use on club shirts. Howay the Lads and HMM
