Christmas-tree decorations made in two phase technique. At first i’ve made a mattern with a modeling tool and just an ordinary needle. When it was done, i’ve baked my acrobats for the first time. After this they were cooled down, sanded, emboss was filled with a white clay and everything baked again. That’s it.
After a wonderful visit of Magic Toscana and her interesting tips (thank you!) I embossed some beads with my handmade structures. This was the first try ...
This was a labour of love, a submission for the design team of a local embossing powders company called WOW Embossing Powders. They have some really amazing quality products, so I thought this was an opportunity that I could not afford to miss, so I gave it a shot. 90% of the stamps I used were HA. I had so much fun putting this canvas togetrher using some great techniques that I learnt on the HA blog, Flickr group, and especially Jennifer McGuire. I thank you all for the endless inspiration and support that you all provide.
The main purpose of this canvas was to demonstrate the versatility of embossing powders and that it could be used in multiple ways and on different media. I will make a blog post soon on the techniques I used. Hover over the notes for further details!
Thank you for stopping to take a peek and have a great weekend!

Embossed buttercrean with a strand of fondant pearls in a pale shade of peach....fresh flowers are the show on this vintage inspired wedding. One of my personal favorites, after much debate as to what the wedding cake should look like the bride said to me" what have you always wanted to do that you have not done before?', This was it.

Eastern State Penitentiary, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This would technically be cast with a pattern, I believe. To the best of my knowledge, cast iron cannot be truly be embossed or stamped in any fashion. Regardless, I thought a patterned radiator in a penitentiary was curious. www.easternstate.org/

I decided to try my hand at copper tooling. I haven't done it since high school and that was a long time ago! I added a patina and sanded off the high spots to create a nice contrast and then sealed it will Renaissance wax. They are ACEO size which is 2.5" x 3.5"
