Life depends on your viewpoint. Some situations are more difficult to work out than others.
Candid shot in the "beer tent" at the Blackdown beer festival 2016.
I'm embarrassed that I can't remember the name of that little island out there. I think it's called Bird Island... but I am not totally sure! If I wasn't so lazy, I'd open up Google Earth to figure it out for sure. But then I know I have a lot of clever readers who can probably tell me for sure!
This was taken in Glacier National Park. I woke up around 5 AM to drive out to this lake to capture the little island in the soft morning light. I really like this area of the rockies. They seem very old and ancient to me. I spent the rest of the morning tromping through the forest, trying to find more interesting vantage points while making enough noise to scare away any grizzlies that might have been looking to get me in an interesting vantage point.

I feel so embarrassed, this album says "last updated two months ago." to be fair I have been taking photos, just not photos for *this* project* whoops. But all's swell, I can never leave things unfinished.
It was kind of nice to actually leave, go outside just for the purpose of taking a self portrait. This is the rooftop of the apartment building I grew up in Jordan. Today was one of those amazing days, it was kinda nice to be up here again after all these years. I think last time was when I was 12? No clue.
I really hope everyone is doing well and enjoying a beautiful spring/summer xx

dirty laundry - personal matters that could be embarrassing if made public
I love the english language and some of the wonderful expressions and sayings - so naturally this image came to pass. With the incredible growth of social networks such as facebook - an all new phenomenon has occurred, where people discuss their most intimate and private thoughts and actions.
In fact there is just no holding back anymore.
Everyone is doing it. We're not only connecting with old- friends, we acquire new ones and then proceed to share every aspect of our existence.
why?
Now, don't get me wrong, i don't mind a bit of venting and sharing, but really... do we have to show all the cracks in our personas and pray tell - what makes some people think that we want to hear it? In fact it seems that the general public who subscribe to this seem to feast on the 'dishing out' of personal information.
Maybe when we read something that reeks of scandal we feel better about ourselves and our own miserable existence. How else can one justify reality shows (amongst other things)?
Is it just me or am i being old-fashioned? i don't wish to offend anyone, just to understand why this is happening...If you don't want to particpate in my random ramblings then just enjoy this lovely image :)))))!
may tuesday rock..

The lovely flowers embarrass me,
They make me regret I am not a bee –

"All my Feathers were in place when a zephyr of a breeze suddenly blew everything all out of order...!
Now everyone will think I don't know how to keep myself tidy for a photo...!!!"

Thank you for the very kind and encouraging comments beneath my photos...! Your support is very greatly appreciated.
for macro monday theme "embarrassing"
Once I went to a black tie wedding wearing this earring...and only this earring. My hair was up (giving everyone a clear look) and even though I had a date (who spent at least some of the night looking at my face...I hope) and I talked with many friends, nobody mentioned that I was wearing only one earring.
All I can figure is that I either have the world's most unobservant friends or everyone just must have assumed that I'm a trendsetter in the world of pirate couture... At least it wasn't a gold hoop.
Ok, so this isn't the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to me. But, it's the one I"m willing to cop to, and the one that worked for a macro shot!
HMM!
embarrassing but funny - i brought my gigantic camera to take awesome shots throughout the day, but the first time i actually tried to take a shot, i discovered that I left my CF card at home. sigh. Camera phone for the sad win.
A couple of Days ago when I went out to the Lanai, I found a Frog on the Sliding Kitchen Window looking in to see what was in the Kitchen Sink. One thing i immediately noticed was that the Frog had tiny suction cups on his/her toes.
I tried to catch him/her with very little luck, because he jumped to the floor of the Lanai. So I grabbed the Pool Skimmer Net and tried to scoop him/her up, but he got a way by jumping up onto the shelf of the Barbecue Grill. When I tried to scoop him off the Barbecue shelf, he immediately jumped up to the Top Track of the Sliding Doors between the Lanai and the House.
Totally Embarrassed by now, I thought maybe I ought to audition for the three Stooges.
Finally after three or four more swats with the Pool Net, I finally got him/her to the Screen door. Opening the door, I was finally able to coax him outside onto the lawn.
It's embarrassing to admit but this is my first complete build since the Normandy. Sure, I've tried a couple builds here and there, but I didn't actually finish anything. I tried my hand at a vignette, but I got bored, so I built a spaceship. Also I've been really busy with the whole "college process" and trying to expand my digital art portfolio as evidenced by my last couple of uploads. I probably won't be starting my next large build until November or so when I've finished my Apps, so until then my uploads will probably just be samples of digital art instead of builds.
Oh and one more thing....
It's happens to all of us now and then...how embarrassing! Swainson's Hawk couldn't get a grip on the metal pole.
This is embarrassing to admit but when I first got this feeder I had considerable difficulty trying to figure out how to open the darn thing. The squirrel figured it out a lot quicker than I did. I know it looks obvious how to open, but not to me when I first tried. So in the contest to see who could open it the fastest, the squirrel won . Taken in my front front yard
I am kind of embarrassed to share this, but my friends here keep asking for pictures and stories. This is kind of a plain picture, but here is the background. This past week, while my kids were doing online school and hubby was working from home, I ran to Target for a few things. I received a sexy message from someone here on Flickr that had me a little excited a little to begin with. I went inside and ended up chatting with a really cute, super nice and very muscular young guy at the Starbucks counter inside Target and his eyes kept checking out my breasts. I didn’t realize until I walked away that my nipples were poking right through! I was both embarrassed and turned on more by this point. When I got back out to the minivan and checked my phone, I had another few messages on Flickr which was really driving me crazy. I ended up touching myself right there in the parking lot. I was so wet that I had to change when I got home before anyone saw me! I took this picture at home before I changed. You all are turning me into a dirty old woman! LOL
