Tijdens de Amsterdamse dag, op 22 september, vertrekt vanaf het Haarlemmermeerstation tram 586 over de museumlijn van de EMA naar Bovenkerk

Vanwege dat de EMA GVB 903 { Bloedneus }naar het openlucht museum gaat verhuizen in Arnhem werd er gisteren een afscheid rit georganiseerd door de EMA om zo beeldig afscheid te nemen en ook via een oude route te rijden.
Hij ging met vertraging onderweg en kwam ongeveer met +45 min de fotograaf naderen in de bijna laatste zonnen stralen de brug opdraaiend om zo naar de Roetersstraat te gaan. voor een mooie line up.
Waar de trams die mee reden in de optocht mooi in een rijtje werd opgesteld om zo de fotograven en genodigde de mooie foto's te maken maar die volgen later.
De fotograaf die al sinds de jaren 80 een verwoede Hobbyist is was dit een groot genot aangezien ik als kleine jongen ooit een stukje heb mogen beleven als bestuurder op een mooie eindpunt. .
Op zondag 20 april 2014 was de 602 van het Elektrisch Tram Museum op pad in Amsterdam. Na een besloten rondrit door Amsterdam voor een gezelschap is de wagen van Diemen Sniep onderweg naar de remise Havenstraat, de thuisbasis van de Museumtram Amsterdam. Op de foto rijdt deze wagen over de Hartveldseweg ter hoogte van de Arent Krijtsstraat in Diemen.

Ema are small wooden plaques on which Shinto worshippers write their prayers or wishes. The ema are then left hanging up at the shrine, where the kami (spirits or gods) receive them. They bear various pictures, often of animals or other Shinto imagery, and many have the word gan'i, meaning "wish", written along the side. In ancient times people would donate horses to the shrines for good favor; over time this was transferred to a wooden plaque with a picture of a horse, and later still to the various wooden plaques sold today for the same purpose.
Ema are sold for various wishes. Common reasons for buying a plaque are for success in work or on exams, marital bliss, to have children, and health. Some shrines specialize in certain types of these plaques, and the larger shrines may offer more than one. Sales of ema help support the shrine financially.
A reminder of our trip to Japan, I'll use it as an ornament for the tree.

Ema are votive plaques. At most shrines, one finds a stand with hundreds of small wooden plaques attached to it. These votive plaques, sold at the Shrine, are called ema. Worshippers buy the plaque, write their wish on it, then hang it on the ema stand, in hopes the shrine deity will grant their wish. All types of wishes are made -- couples hoping to have children, students hoping to pass school exams, people looking for true love, etc."

"Rhea americana" -
Esta ave brasileira, não voadora, é a que desenvolve a maior velocidade nas corridas, cerca de 60km/h. No mundo, só perde para o avestruz que alcança os 80km/h.
Os principais fatores que levaram à diminuição das populações das emas foram a destruição do habitat natural (cedendo lugar para a agropecuária); a caça para alimentação e para a proteção das plantações, e os atropelamentos.
Os agricultores não vêem a ema com bons olhos; ela gosta de se alimentar dos tenros brotos e das sementes enterradas; ao lado do Parque Nacional das Emas, GO, é comum vê-las (junto com os veados) saírem da área protegida para se alimentarem nas plantações contaminadas com agrotóxicos que, ingeridos, comprometem a saúde do animal e a de sua prole. Por outro lado, os pecuaristas consideram esta ave útil por se alimentarem de pequenas serpentes além de carrapatos e moscas que parasitam o gado.
São animais onívoros e sua dieta é composta de gramíneas, leguminosas e pequenos animais como cobras, ratos, lagartos e insetos.
São aves rústicas que sobrevivem à seca; por outro lado, não suportam grandes períodos de chuvas pois suas penas não são impermeáveis e o excesso de umidade pode ser fatal para os filhotes. Em algumas regiões, as emas são capturadas e têm suas penas arrancadas para a fabricação de adornos, espanadores e adereços para fantasias de carnaval; a coleta das penas ocorre a cada 10 meses.
Rhea americana has a large range in north-east and south-east Brazil, east Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and north-east and east Argentina south to 40°S2. It typically occurs in pampas, campo cerrado and open chaco woodland, normally in areas with some tall grassland and other vegetation, but also in open grassland and cultivated fields, at elevations up to 1,200 m 1,2,4,5. For breeding, it prefers areas adjacent to rivers, lakes and marshes2. Its status is obfuscated by the presence of feral birds3, but it has declined markedly partly owing to hunting for meat and the colossal export of skins. Over 50,000 skins were traded in 1980, most apparently originating in Paraguay, with Japan and USA leading consumers2. In recent years, the large-scale conversion of central South American grasslands for agriculture and cattle-ranching has considerably reduced and fragmented its available habitat, particularly in the pampas and cerrado strongholds. The healthiest populations are now in parts of the Chaco region.
30-10-2022 Haarlemmermeer station
Op de Amsterdamse dag van de EMA werd de 919 11G ook tentoongesteld en waar kan het beter dan in het Circuit waar geen tram voorlopig de korte route neemt meer.
Deze is sinds een paar jaar een museum wagen zodat er van de 11 ( en 12 G een wagen is behouden van de schroot.
Deze was ooit bestemd voor de lijn 16 en is i opgeheven door het GVB en waar de Stad Amsterdam woningen heb gebouwd.
Aangezien je met dit display alles kan doen werd er een leuke eindhalte bekend gemaakt.
Niemand weer waar deze is in Amsterdam maar wordt ooit bekend gemaakt.

30-10-2022 's-Gravesandeplein
Op deze mooie herfst dag eind Oktober werd er weer een Amsterdamse dag gehouden door de EMA en Stichting BRAM.
Deze kon door de maatregelen al 2 jaar geen doorgaan vinden en vandaag kon het dus.
Afgelopen maandag werd de 794 weer goed gekeurd en kon dus weer deelnemen.
De tram is de afgelopen jaren flink onderhanden genomen en diverse reparaties ondergaan en heeft ook een nieuwe mooie gele kleur.
En kon dus deel nemen aan de ritten die elk 20 minuten plaats vond vanaf het Muiderpoort en en Haarlemmermeer station..
We zien hier de EMA 794 onderweg naar zijn eindpunt en deze tram geeft mij me jeugd weer terug.
Als hobbyist sinds de jaren 78 heb ik ooit in deze tram toen ik 15 jaar was mocht ik een stukje rijden dus dat ik deze tram op de baan zie maakt mij zeer blij en doet me aan me jeugd denken.
De 794 is een 9 G wagen en sinds 2016 een museum wagen.

In de laatste dagen van 2023 organiseert de EMA weer de traditionele eindejaarsritten door de stad. Elke 20 minuten tussen 11 en 17 uur vertrekt een historisch tramstel vanaf de Dam.
Hier komt de 464, met de niet zichtbare 776 aan de haak door de Reguliersbreestraat rijden naar de Munt.

Wagen 454 van het Elektrisch Tram Museum is op zondag 20 april 2014 onderweg over de museumlijn van het Haarlemmermeerstation naar Amstelveen en heeft op de foto bijna de Bosbaanweg bereikt.
