Toronto Building Reflections...
The outbuildings of Harbour Plaza Condos 88 Harbour street reflected beautifully in the RBC WaterPark Place building windows.
The noonday sun was blazing a path through a pale blue sky; playing havoc with my cameras meters. getting this shot while standing in the intersection was a risky move given the impatience of Toronto drivers.

I was never thinking that the seascape shooting can be so adventurous like this morning. I went with Michael to Shelly Beach-Manly to take some shots but I must have misunderstood his email. Seriously, when he told me that this was going to be an adventure, he was right!!
We decided that instead of walking for half an hour to our destination we would take the shortcut via a steep road down to the cliff in pitch black darkness (5.30 am). Well Michael had a flash light and I forgot mine at home, bottom line – we finally reached our destination with some additional scars, bruises and scratches on my legs and feet. I had slipped a couple of times and fell despite my Spiderman powers and my new wet shoes!!
We met Oat ( Hangingpixels) and few more photographers; good thing is to see how many people enjoy photography, sunrise and seascape shooting.

Pling, an email. Pling, a text. Pling, a discord notification. Sometimes it's a bit much, isn't it?
The second round of this year’s RogueOlympics over on RogueBricks was about exploring the 'Internet'.
I had barely any time last week for the ROs - some three hours on a Sunday night was all that I could manage. So here's a simple little tale about ignoring the internet, I guess.
Can you recognise all the services that the minifigure is walking away from?
The RogueOlympics require you to stick to 101 elements or less so this little scene was built with a total of 98 bricks. It’s always great fun to work around those restrictions as it’s so different from most other contests, so of course I had to join.
Six more rounds to go, we barely started! Feel free to join in on the fun!

Realizing it was already June, and seeing that it was overcast today, I knew it was the perfect time to go shoot some pics at my favorite rose garden! The day was indeed perfect, and I couldn't get enough of these roses they've entitled, "Pure Poetry." This is just the beginning of my posts for today's roses, but I would imagine you will see many more of this particular rose! Hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Fall Foliage in Transition, Eastern Sierra. Sierra Nevada, California. October 9, 2015. © Copyright 2015 G Dan Mitchell - all rights reserved.
Fall color comes to cottonwood and aspen trees in McGee Canyon, Eastern Sierra Nevada
This is a favorite east side Sierra Nevada canyon. Like so many of these canyons, it spills out into the Valley east of the sharp eastern front of the range, with evidence of ancient glaciation in the form of lateral moraines. It quickly twists and turns and rises toward the monumental peaks of the Sierra crest, quickly transitioning from essentially desert country to alpine terrain in a matter of a relatively few miles. This particular canyon doesn't necessarily look like much from the valley, as its lower reaches are obscured by the moraine ridges near its base. But as soon as you cross those low hills and enter the main canyon, its steep walls and stupendous scale become obvious.
In the fall the lower canyon is full of cottonwood trees turning golden, while higher up the canyon aspens change color a bit earlier. Several years ago I backpacked into this canyon in September, the only time I've done so, and I passed through some of the earliest color I've seen in the Eastern Sierra. This was another early color year, largely as a result of California's four-year drought. On this visit there was a bit of relief from the incessant heat and dryness as weather fronts passed through, and a bit of snow is visible along the higher faces.

Above. Is this a real email from Flickr or is it a SPAM email???
I received this today and thought I'd try to find out if anyone else has received this email... I have my suspicions as it uses an email of mine (Deleted from photo) not associated with my Flickr account. So the two should not be linked in any way.
It's a very long and convincing email with lots of clickable links further down the page. (Which you should NOT click on)!!!
Please inform me if anyone else has received one of these emails, and - is it real?.
part of the "jardin d'émail", a large black and white sculpture by Jean Dubuffet. This sculpture is huge - you can walk around on it's multi-level surface...
It was built specially for the sculpture garden at the Kröller-Müller museum in the Netherlands where it still stands today.
