The conception:
one day in April, Dave & Jane and I saw each other driving on Centinela Ave.
I sent them an email that when making my dinner, I listen to music and, on occassion, I play out their myspace profile, and that their music is good to listen to when making grilled salmon and cole slaw.
Then, I proposed them to play in my living room so I can hear live versions of their music and I'll make them dinner in return.
One thing led to another and led to The Black HeartThrobs Cole Slaw Gig. El Segundo, May 15, 2008. Good songs by David, Jane, & Brian.
After dinner and their set, the Moses Explosion (Moses, Mike B, Brian B) played a set, and was followed by a Weezer cover set (Brian B, Mike B., & David).
Also joining in were Pierre, Krystyna, Mart, Anna, Jessica, & Boyd.
