SRA Tania Ceja looks as exercise continues. 61st Medical Group, Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA participated in MERCAT (Medical Emergency Response Capabilities and Assessment Training) which is to be piggy backed with a Blue Falcon Exercise in preparation for an upcoming ORI. The Air Force Space Command's (MERCAT) objectives, scheduled at Los Angeles Air Force Base outside the Medical Clinic June 8-12, 2009 is to assess the collective ability of the Medical Group to respond to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, explosive event; assess communication capabilities within and among Los Angeles Air Force Base Home Station Medical Response Teams; and assess collaboration with any community emergency capability support.
