Meaning of first name Rose :
"Saint Rose was a young Spaniard, born in 1586 in Peru and who made her family home a kind of Dominican convent. She had mystical gifts. She is the patroness of Latin America and the Philippines.
The Roses, whose first name comes from the Latin rosa, know how to use their charm and rebound with liveliness. They also know how to be eloquent. Main asset of these women: dynamism."

We have wiped out many of the pests and scourges which afflicted humanity. We have advanced science to the edges of the inexplicable and hoisted technology to the sun itself... In brief, we are prosperous, lively, successful, inventive, diligent — but, nevertheless and notwithstanding, something is wrong and we know it :-)

It's me, and look at my pose and my eyes. It can be used in many life situations... but in this case it's for an imaginary partner and his new f***** flame - fortunately it's not real actually :).

You Oughta Know
Alanis Morissette
I want you to know, that I am happy for you
I wish nothing but the best for you both
An older version of me
Is she perverted like me?
Would she go down on you in a theater?
Does she speak eloquently
And would she have your baby?
I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother
'Cause the love that you gave that we made
Wasn't able to make it enough for you
To be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me
You'd hold me until you died
'Til you died, but you're still alive
And I'm here, to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair, to deny me
Of the cross I bear that you gave to me
You, you, you oughta know
You seem very well, things look peaceful
I'm not quite as well, I thought you should know
Did you forget about me, Mr. Duplicity?
I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner
It was a slap in the face
How quickly I was replaced
And are you thinking of me when you f**k her?
'Cause the love that you gave that we made
Wasn't able to make it enough for you
To be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me
You'd hold me until you died
'Til you died, but you're still alive
'Cause the joke that you laid in the bed
That was me and I'm not gonna fade
As soon as you close your eyes, and you know it
And every time I scratch my nails
Down someone else's back I hope you feel it
Well, can you feel it?

"Eyes speak. Eyes say the unsaid words. Eyes express feelings. Eyes convey emotions. Eyes are eloquent. Eyes are tender. Eyes are sensitive. Eyes are captivating. I can't help looking into eyes. I am always fascinated by eyes. If I were a painter then I would love to paint eyes!”

"The form is eloquent in itself, and it tells us that whatever the characters have undergone they have undergone for the sake of telling about it, for transmitting, communicating, confessing, writing it. In such a world, where everything gets told, the weapon that is both most readily available and most deadly is disclosure."

Like someone who’s pulling a rope that will break
Pulling, pulling, pulling, pulling, pulling…
Without realizing, brushing a little more,
Eyes still closed to avoid facing
That the air is made of crystal,
That can shatter,
That, even if it looks weird, I want to devour you.
That the air is made of crystal,
That can shatter,
That, even if it looks weird, I want to devour you.
She didn’t care about crashing in a corner of her mouth
Like the wave that gives itself over to the rock
Lost in the abyss of those hands with no end
Bigger enough to hug all her planet
You’re not here right now
I’m not here right now
But silence is the most eloquent way of lying
You’re not here right now
I’m not here right now
But silence is the most eloquent way of lying
Your silence lives in mine
And somewhere in my body used to live
A piece of your smell
Your silence lives in mine
And somewhere in my eyes used to live
A piece of pain
You’re here right now
I’m here right now
Hug me to make me think of you sometime
You’re here right now
I’m here right now
Hug me to make me think of you sometime
Your silence lives in mine
And somewhere in my body used to live
A piece of your smell
Your silence lives in mine
And somewhere in my eyes used to live
A piece of pain
Your silence lives in mine
And somewhere in my body used to live
A piece of your smell
Your silence lives in mine
And somewhere in my eyes used to live
A piece of pain
The air is made of crystal
That can shatter
That, even if my lips aren’t talking
I want to devour you...

Known for their seductive nature, enthralling demeanor, and eloquent grace to the point of obsession, Toreador vampires Embrace artists and lovers into their ranks, forever trying to stir their own deadened hearts. Supernaturally graceful and charming, the Divas are always looking for the next thrill, leaving a detritus of discarded lovers and victims in their wake.

They are not the mark of weakness but of power
They speak more eloquently than 10,000 tongues.
They are the messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable love.

Spetses, an island boasting a long naval tradition, is famous for its significant contribution to the 1821 War of Independence. It was here that the revolution flag was raised on 3rd April 1821. The island has managed to retain its individual traditional character thanks to its well-preserved grand captain mansions, still bearing eloquent witness to the island’s glorious past.
Great Carolus Linnaeus for this beautiful plant used the generic name 'Hyacinthus'. The first extensive description of it was by Filippo Parlatore (1816-1877), the great botanist of Florence, in 1845. His idea for a national Italian herbarium (1841) was taken up and financed largely by Leopold II, Grand Duke of Tuscany, (1797-1870). Out of gratitude, Parlatore renamed our plant for his benefactor: Leopoldia comosa. In his description he waxes eloquent about his patron.
Leopoldia isn't just a pretty plant, but it's also edible and considered a delicacy especially in Mediterranean countries.
Beneath a railway bridge in Camden, surrounded by building and roadworks, I found this street art, which eloquently evokes the depression felt by those whose circumstances have made them give up on life. It seems to me that the pose speaks for street people throughout the world who suffer. Thanks to Joe O'Malley for telling me this is by Claudio Ethos, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Please read his note below.

People born in the Year of the Ox are patient, speak little, and inspire confidence in others. They tend, however, to be eccentric, and bigoted, and they anger easily. They have fierce tempers and although they speak little, when they do they are quite eloquent. Ox people are mentally and physically alert. Generally easy-going, they can be remarkably stubborn, and they hate to fail or be opposed. They are most compatible with Snake, Rooster, and Rat people."

Father and daughter
Amritsar (India) - There are photos for which a simple glance is enough not to insist beyond what is strictly necessary.
Needless to say, this photo was taken with the agreement of the dad. And I understood that I was only entitled to one take. Too bad, because I would have liked to do a second one with a little more extended depth of field, so that the father with the killer look benefits from a slight additional sharpness. Sometimes you have to be content with what you have. And there, this look was eloquent on what awaited me if I showed too much interest in his daughter.
This is the smallest hawk species we have in Canada. I believe most of the sightings of the Sharp-shinned Hawk are near bird feeders where they perch nearby and prey on small birds coming and going from the feeders. When feeders are not in season they prey on small birds like sparrows and wood warblers either snatched in the air in flight or picked off while perched on a twig or small branch.
This bird of prey with its long tail that works like a rudder, short, rounded wings and rapid strong flight is eloquently designed to negotiate dense thickets at high speeds to capture its targets.
One consistent habit they have is to pluck all the prey they catch before consuming themselves or feeding to nestlings.
The male feeds the female when she is incubating her 3 or 4 eggs for 34 - 35 days and feeds both her and the nestlings but he will be very cautious around her since she is 1/3 times larger than he is.
This species has dark eyes when mature but juveniles have yellow eyes so we have a juvenile here searching the undergrowth for an unsuspecting meal.
She walks in Beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which Heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express,
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

the most precisely articulated national purpose in recorded history. Not only is it a famous statement of purpose: it is also an admirable statement of purpose. Prior to July 4, 1776, the national purpose of nations had been to dominate... The American national purpose was the opposite: to liberate from domination; to set men free. All men are created equal.
We not only have a national purpose; we have one of such aspiration, such potentiality, such power of hope that we refer to it — or used to — as the American Dream :-)

I was asked if I had gotten a shot of the court house while I was in Lockhart some time back. Of course I did..;) But I wasn't that happy with it because by the time I straightened it, I lost the top of it..;( Anyway, here's some info:
The current Caldwell County Courthouse was built in 1893-1894. There is debate as to whether the design was by San Antonio architect Alfred Giles or Henri E. M. Guindon, who worked for Giles but not during the time the plans were sold to Caldwell County. The design is Second Empire-style architecture. The cornerstone was laid on August 15, 1893 and the county commissioners received the building on March 19, 1894. The walls are built of rusticated masonry and cream colored limestone and trimmed with red sandstone specified to be from Muldoon, Texas. In 1969 the building received air conditioning and had an elevator installed. Major restoration in 2000 brought the courthouse back to its historic appearance. The courthouse was rededicated in April 2000.
The city of Lockhart is named after Byrd Lockhart, an assistant surveyor of Green DeWitt and reportedly the first Anglo to set foot in Caldwell County. Lockhart was the site of a victory of the Texans over the Comanche, at the Battle of Plum Creek in 1840. Lockhart was originally called "Plum Creek" but the name was later changed to Lockhart.
The town's economic growth began with the arrival of the railroad in the late 19th century, at which time the town became a regional shipping center for local cotton. Following the arrival of the railroad, various immigrants arrived in Lockhart and opened various businesses.
Lockhart has several claims to fame. In 1999, the Texas Legislature proclaimed Lockhart the "Barbecue Capital of Texas";[5] Lockhart has four major barbecue restaurants. The Dr. Eugene Clark Library is the oldest operating public library in Texas. Lockhart was also the subject of an article by the architectural historian and critic Colin Rowe, first published in Architectural Record in 1957, and republished in the collection of his writings As I Was Saying (1996). Rowe sees Lockhart as a "curiously eloquent" example of a Victorian post-frontier American town.

In the photo Batman is voraciously plumbing the depths of Hoary Alyssum, Berteroa incana. Berteroa was named for Carlo Giuseppe Luigi Bertero (1789-1831) in 1818. The famous botanist Augustin Pyramus de Candolle (1779-1841) waxes eloquent on the merits of Bertero for the botany of Piedmont and remarks that he is now on a voyage of discovey in Central America. Indeed! Bertero was in the West Indies 1816-1821; and later he worked in Mexico and Chile. Always extending his horizons he set sail from Chile to Tahiti, collected there but on his planned return to Valparaiso aboard a new schooner with his entire collection in 1831 he was sadly lost to science in a presumed shipwreck.
