Today I finally got around to changing the strings on my Gibsons. Elixir strings are around twice as expensive as any other brand, but I kid you not: they last four to five times as long! I'm not even on their payroll, just stating a fact here. Actually, they're a bit too good, since with any other brand, I get regular access to the fretboard. With Elixirs, I change strings so seldom that the wood gets all caked with dust and stuff.

Pipilotti Rist created a visual narrative with meditative soundscapes on the 5th floor of Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma. I think possibly one of the most relaxing places I have ever been.
