'Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

First chrome film I developed in ECN2. Not as interesting results as processing chrome in C-41 but the film was already expired when I exposed it in 2011. Who knows...
I kinda remember this day.

For a couple of months now, I have not been able to reach my Lightroom, due to an update of my computer, changing discs and harddrives, and of course, problems with connecting LR with the right cataloge... O:((((( (the cataloges were EVERYWHERE...)
But yesterday I finally cracked it!! YESSS!!!!!
I still have the issue with connecting with my scanner and Silverfast, so I use my archive for now.
And in my archives I found this image from way back in time, but gosh, this is how I have felt, unable to reach my LR.
So here we go, I hope you like the image :-)

I've just got back from a trip to Cairo, which was great. I took lots of photos, but I think it's going to take me a few days to sort through them all.
This is the alps, taken on my way there.

This was shot on probably long expired and unrefrigerated Kodak Elitechrome 100. This roll was inside a Minolta XD5 I picked up in an auction. I don't like to waste films like this, so I transferred it to my Kodak Retina and shot forward from the frame number on the Minolta. I rated it lower than the box speed. I have a couple pf frames of some unknown ghostly figures, then the rest of the film wasn't so bad. A lite of grit and hair on it for some reason. The colours aren't what they would have been, but not really so bad.
The shadows seem to tend toward magenta and detail is pretty good. More vivid reds actually reproduced quite well and grass didn't look bad. Blues seemed to shift a little towards green. All a bit of fun.
The Minolta is actually in sound condition and now just awaiting new seals a clean. I have been wanting a Minolta SLR back in my collection for ages... nearly there now.
