Wren in Alexandra Park

dark skies night lites

forever starry heavenly delights

the moon beckons resting on dark vines

intertwined and resting on our minds

calling grabbing holding us in it's nitely shines

and if we let it, we will be go to it's deadly twines.

i feel it calling the vines of my desires

the vines of my desires are fires

fires first

soon morning will come and the light will shine

and the vine that lovely vine will fall away

never more to shine in the darkness.

now would come the theater of survival for my outdoor friends

cat's huddled in corners, birds sitting still flowers asleep in their seeds

tomorrow may bring snow, who knows.

but today just glimmers and slivers of color dot the sky and paint the ground

welcome father winter, welcome mother cold we await your first blankets of white.
