Van carried this dish attached to his belt. The dish had 200 feet of cable that dangled as he climbed. I helped feed the cable so it wouldn't get tangled. I was nearly exhausted! When we checked my new internet connection it was 7 times faster than the "broadband" provided by the local phone company.

By this time Van looked like an ant climbing around up there. He said there was a steady wind of about 20 miles per hour. The cable hanging freely from the dish blew out like a kite string.

Never a shy one, Van stops to pose for a photograph on the way up. It was also a good chance for a short rest. He stopped every fifty feet or so to rest his arms and legs.

Van uses his direction finder to locate my house so he can aim the dish in the right direction. When this one fails he has an electronic finder.

It was a long climb and quite dangerous. Van uses a safety cable to prevent a fall.

While up there Van changed some light bulbs and redirected one antenna. I think he also took a short nap cause he was up there a long time.
