The John Hollis flatline compressor, a very subtle effect that I've found works best on bass and acoustic guitar. It's an optical compressor that doesn't have that heavy 'squish' to it you get with others (like the Orange Squeezer).

The boards are scored. I didn't explicitly order it that way, but they snap off very easily. At first glance I didn't see the grooves, so that was a positive surprise! I had already thought about using the mini mill to cut these out. Pure horror. I probably would have had to use a 0.5 or even 0.3mm tungsten carbide mill, and these break very easily.
Lots of hot glue, everything is epoxy'ed to the heat sink. The Luxeons have thermal compound underneath.

Test of the Arduino interface for DaveyBot. The Xbox is playing Rock Band 2, the computer software is analyzing the game images and sending commands over USB to the Boarduino (shown in the video) and the Boarduino program is turning on & off the LEDs. Those LEDs represent the switches on the Guitar Hero controller. The next step is to wire the Boarduino into the guitar controller.
