Kathmandu is Nepal's capital city and it's largest city. It is at 1,300m (4,265 ft) above sea level and has a population of 1.5 million. The earliest inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley may have settled here as early as 900 BC.
Spotted this flower in a landscapae garden while walking through Darling Harbour, Sydney. I think the colours look so electrifying...

FYI:
There are two types of lightning. One is the cloud-to-cloud type of lightning, and the other is cloud-to-ground lightning. What I have on this shot is the cloud-to-cloud type(again).

Eo3 and Ec7 EE of 1923 and 1929 respectively had a run out at the Ferrymead railway in Christchurch today.
The physics people deserved the big crowds they drew for exhibits like this one. Not captured is the intermittent current and pickle glowing from the inside! The photo also does not let you catch a whiff of a cooking pickle either so you should not feel too bad.
