This is a part of an electric razor.
It has been captured with a magnification of almost 2X by using a sort of "Frankenstein setup": a vintage 50mm Pentax macro lens + a vintage Kenko macro teleconverter MC7 + an helicoid adapter. I hope that you like the result.

Lycaena phlaeas, the small copper, American copper, or common copper, is a butterfly of the Lycaenids or gossamer-winged butterfly family. According to Guppy and Shepard (2001), its specific name phlaeas is said to be derived either from the Greek phlego, "to burn up" or from the Latin floreo, "to flourish".

Wie so oft: Der Produzent findet es ganz einfach und selbsterklรคrend. Der Konsument eher nicht nicht.
Bis ich einigermaรen verstanden habe, wie das ganze funktioniert, hat es erst mal ne Weile nicht funktioniert.
Fรผr das erste brauchbare Ergebnis habe ich gut vier Stunden gebraucht. Angefangen damit, raus zu finden, welcher Stecker wohin gehรถrt und wo Vorne und wo Hinten ist.
Immerhin, es funktioniert und es ist recht solide gebaut. Und hat tatsรคchlich nur einen Bruchteil dessen gekostet, was man sonst so fรผr einen programmierbaren elektrischen Makroschlitten hinblรคttern muss.

Unfortunately, the manual supplied with the camera consists of only two short A4 pages in English.
As is so often the case: the producer finds it quite simple and self-explanatory. The consumer rather does not.
Until I understood to some extent how the whole thing works, it didn't work for a while.
It took me a good four hours to get the first usable result. Starting with finding out which plug goes where and where the front and the back are.
At least it works and it is quite solidly built. And it really only cost a fraction of what you usually have to pay for a programmable electric macro slide.
Die Olympus M1 mit Zuiko 60mm Macro- Raynox M150 , Godox Macro Flash +Trigger auf einem electrischen Macro-Rail mit Kreuzschlitten und Getriebeneiger - dazu gibt es noch einen Objekt-Tisch mit entsprechenden Verstellmรถglichkeiten. Der Macro-Blitz ist selbst garnicht so macro und macht die Kamera ziemlich schwer und kopflastig - wenn man aber erst mal raus hat, wie der Blitz funktioniert ist es ein hervorragendes Werkzeug, mit dem endlich eine perfekte Ausleuchtung mรถglich ist. (siehe die Fotos "Golden Girl" und "Staples" weiter vor) Das ist das Set mit zwei Blitzleuchten, ich denk ich werde noch eine dritte dazu nehmen. Das System ist problemlos erweiterbar. Funktioniert inzwischen sowohl an den Olyยดs als auch an den Lumixen.

The macro flash itself is not so macro and makes the camera rather heavy and top-heavy - but once you have figured out how the flash works, it is an excellent tool with which perfect lighting is finally possible. (see the photo "Golden Girl" and "Staples" further ahead) This is the set with two flashes, I think I will add a third. The system is easily expandable. It now works on both the Oly's and the Lumixes.

My point is this:
Unfortunately, there are always pixel splitters and principle riders who think that a macro is only a macro if it has really been created with the sacred tools of macro photography and at least on a scale of 1:1. Apart from the fact that a full-frame shot of a stamp with a full-frame camera would be a macro, but not with an MFT, because the sensor can only show the stamp at a smaller scale, I also think this is petty nitpicking.
If someone succeeds in taking a full-frame picture of an object smaller than 24x36 mm in such a way that you can also recognise fine details, I don't care whether this is achieved with a focal length of 2mm or 1600mm. It is then a question of quality.
Obviously, some macro photographers tend to have a very narrow view and a restricted field of vision - not only optically, but also mentally.
And then the focus is not on the results but on the rules.
For me, it's the result that counts.
I have various macro lenses, lots of high-quality achromatic CloseUP-Lenses, extension rings, retro rings, bellows, adjustment slides and an electric macro rail - but for me these are only possibilities and not necessary conditions.
That's what it's all about for me.
This is the blown fuse for my SUV's gauges. It's nice to have those spares to select in the vehicles fuse box.
