Josep Vilaseca (1848–1910) was one of many architects working in Modernista Barcelona whose names have not come down to us as stars. His two contiguous Cases Cabot, built in 1901–04, are quite different from one another. The doorway of the house at Nos 8–10 has particularly fine decoration. Lonely planet- online
