Super-producer Stir Crazy has stamped his imprint on the music scene since 2003. His production has helped create career defining hits for artists such as Potluck, D12, Bizzy Bone, Toxsick, Kamal, Tre Pound, SOL, T.O.N.Ez, The Insane Clown Posse and many others. Respected beyond the genres of hip hop and urban music, Stir Crazy, has also been sought by superstars and underground legends whose music needs a new edge.
Born Jesse Elliott in Detroit, Michigan on December 23, 1986, Stir Crazy has had many reincarnations-- from a partnership in the label Super Phat Productions, and involved in a super group which consists of Dood Computer (of Doom Fist) and Himself.
Chop Shops smash hit single ‘Heart”, and Kamal’s debut cd Certified produced by Stir Crazy, introduced a unique style that defined the new wave of music in the years too come. Hip Hop and R&B with crazy effects held together by complex drum patterns. Death B4 Dishoner a group consisting of Lokey, T.O.N.Ez and Stir Crazy proved Stir Crazy could step out his normal boundaries and do heavy metal and rock production.
Recently he has helped form, and in a music group with Dood Computer from Albany, New York and about to release there new upcoming album. The reason this album is getting so much attention is because of the marketing. It is coming out on cassette tape only.

His partnership with fellow producer Tre Pound, has spanned the untouchable label Super Phat Productions, and there trademark sound has spawned numerous imitators in the Detroit area. Still known as the originators of the new wave of Detroit sound when it comes to hip hop and R&B music.
Along the way he built an impressive arsenal of studio equipment, and worked/works at many studios in Detroit where he does most of his production. He regularly travels between his home studio and other studios around the area and other states working on many projects.
Stir Crazy’s genre breaking has changed music today and he takes pride in his success at staying ahead of the game with his experimentation and originality. Hard working and confident, his goal is to always stay ten steps ahead of the competitors while making fans not only hear but ‘feel’ music.
One thing Stir Crazy has on his side, other than incredible talent, is visibility. He has been featured on numerous websites as well as print.. He has been seen on several DVD’s, and he has a role in a feature film, Zombie Prom.. Then there are his numerous other appearances and accomplishments. He was named producer of the year by Juggalo News by voting of fans. The acknowledgment came as a surprise, he got a message that he was going to be featured, and there he was, without having to submit anything about himself. The word is out!

Through logos, icons and symbols, the most basic of all design exercises, and with no more than the simple black and white, “KION LOGO ICON SYMBOL” explores the important design concept of “recapturing the basic from overcomplication.” One key objective of design is communication, where complication is no contributing factor, as compared to critical factors
of accuracy and interaction. “KION LOGO ICON SYMBOL” is an invitation for you to come share the value of “recapturing the basic from overcomplication.”

Over 1,300 students participated in the project together with 18 local artists including: Au Yeung Ying-chai Craig, Ching Chin-wai Luke, Chow Chun-fai, Hoi Chiu, Ip Ka-wai Alexis, Keung Chi-ming Jimmy, Pak Sheung-chuen + Kam Lai-wan, Tse Ming-chong, Tse Suk-ting Sara, and ZOOMAN, together with 6 street artists from a local art group ST/ART: BIGMAD, C#, Graphic Airlines (Tat and Vi), KS, Start From Zero and Tiffancheetah, use art to document their collective experience as well as personal memories related to this particular district.

Celebrating the breadth and depth of video possibilities through art. A plethora of live video editors, electronic and interactive artists, video and installation artists who use the moving image outside the “box”. Coming from as far as Italy, Switzerland and Germany these artists showcase their work with the video community in New York City.
For two weeks and in two different locations the festival hosts an array of projects. Projects include, Katja Loher’s video planets, a ¾ ton “ice-stallation” by Raphael DiLuzio, a demonstration by Berlin based Modul8 software representative and performer, Ilan Katin, and a night of performance featuring video artist and collaborator, Alison Childs and the Spanish AV(Audio/Video) perfomer, *Rafaël*. Please join us for these exciting, free events.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL:
ART EXHIBITION
The art space located at 1717 Troutman Street in Brooklyn, NY will exhibit Play With Fire installations and performances from November 7-15, 2009 alongside the exhibition, Black Thursday Halloween City!!!Black Friday Fireworks Stand (BTHCBFFS). The event collectively spans five loft spaces and hosts over 70 artists in the newly renovated commercial building on the Bushwick-Ridgewood border. Opening receptions will occur on November 7 from 4PM-8PM, and alongside the BETAspaces, Arts in Bushwick event on Sunday November 8, from 12PM-6PM.
VIDEO PERFORMANCES
Capping off the week, the 1717 Troutman location will be transformed into a one night only performance! The event will run from 4PM-12AM on November 15, 2009.Performances range from interactive installations to an explosion of visuals set to music. Reimagining the role of performer and audience and always using video, this event will showcase the progressive use of video for performance and push the boundaries of space and collaboration.

From November 15-21, 2009 all Play With Fire events will take place at Harvestworks Digitial Media Arts Center in Manhattan.

Sunday’s two hour demonstration of Modul8, the industry standard live-video editing software, will begin the series, followed by a week of artist talks considering space, collaboration and the interdisciplinary tendencies of video. The festival will end with a final demonstration on Saturday November 21, 2009 at 6 PM, of “Toy’s Opera”, a miniature opera/multimedia performance written for and incorporating small moving toys by collaborative: Adam Kendall (video; software programming), Yoni Niv (physical computing; sound) and Elad Shniderman (sound).

The thirteenth installment of Gestures: An Exhibition of Small Site-Specific Works opens with a public reception on July 24, 2009 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
In 2001, the Mattress Factory initiated the Gestures exhibition series to present new works by regional artists. In each exhibition, participants include individuals from a wide range of creative practices. Past participants in Gestures shows have included florists, architects, graphic designers and a wig maker.
