Spotted in a shop window in Chichester. I selected the hat and then extruded the background. Jazzed it up a bit.
I took these images on camera the Angel by the meeting place - Donut next to palace pier singing man in Sapporo Japan. Hand from Moss Bross and the ladybird from a video I made in Queens Park in Macro Brighton.
I edited them all in After Effects.

I belive this is an upper tangent arc because the arc is flatter and more elongated than the top of a 22 degree halo. The Sun was at 46 degrees altitude, and at this height if the upper and lower tangents arcs meet, it would form a circumscribed halo. This looks like the top of a circumscribed halo.
The left side parhelion is well outside the 22 degree halo position and well above the Sun when it is at this altitude. My later image of a right side Parhelion shows the position has changed
This is just some of the collection. I have some permanently on my board and three or four in constant rotation dependent on my mood. I didn't want to shut them away in a drawer as I also happen to like the way they look . . .yes, I know, I'm sad. :-)
The Hurricane was commissioned by me and built from scratch by an old RAF chum of my dad's.
