My harbour photograph tonight is dedicated to Gene Hackman who, at 95 years of age, died today.
Gene Hackman: 1930 - 2025.
He was one of my favourite Hollywood actors. And only today I was screening 'Mississippi Burning' to my class of 30 senior high schoolgirls, as we explored the topic of racism. In this 1988 movie Gene Hackman plays FBI agent Rupert Anderson.
I have no more words.

More insect photography with the 400mm end of the Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS II USM EF Lens. I hope you are all safe and well in these strange times. I know photography has been the best medicine for me. Take care.
I found this nice view of the citadel of Briançon a long time ago, but I was always waiting for great lighting conditions to shoot it. This morning, the light was quite good, but a kind of haze reduced the contrast a lot... So I had to play with LightRoom and PS to get a more punchy image. I also repainted one of the houses, they all have nice pastel colors except one... Can you guess which one?
