Yr Wyddfa - Mt Snowdon - on the left, and Crib Goch on the right.

The conditions were so gorgeous that we drove a circular route through Eryri - Snowdonia - and we were in raptures with its beauty from start to finish.

W124 500E 929 Nautical Blue

The new Asus EeePC 900. It's tiny. It's hackable. It's awesome.

My office @ Pitt.

W124 500E 929 Nautical Blue

Straight outta the box from Taiwan.

This came from Taiwan because the particular model (B204) is not currently available in the US. The US versions sport on-board video and DVI out vs this model which has an ATI video card and HDMI out.

Marthese Gemmell titkellem fuq il-moda tas-sittinijiet.

"Eee [...] il-moda tagħna dak iż–żmien, għallinqas li niftakar jiena, bdejna l-iktar fuq moda Taljana minħabba li t-television kien għadu kif beda u kellna ħafna stazzjonijiet Taljani u ovvjament l-Ingliżi. Taljani kellna lil Gigliola Cinquetti, Caterina Caseli, dawn huma kollha kantanti [...] li konna dejjem niffollowjaw x’jilbsu. L-Ingilterra kien hemm Twiggy emm […] warajhom imbagħad bdew il-Beatles, flower power, imbagħad kellna il-moda tal-black and white kulħadd abjad u l-iswed, l-affarijiet mżewqin abjad u iswed, il-mini skirt ,daħal il-mexi wkoll , żraben tat-Twiggy, bdejna il-platforms, bdejna nitwalu, bellbottoms u ovvjament il-baby dolls, dawk li konna ngħidulhom il-baby dolls."

eee!

The winning feature of the B204 vs its American counterparts - an HDMI out that goes to an ATI Mobility Radeon 3450

Primer arranque del Asus Eee PC.

Processed on the phone with Lightroom. Not a bad workflow for snaps!

Apologies for dehaze abuse...

Not precisely Captain Ahab here, though.

Here's my Eee PC up and running. I have the Advanced Desktop (i.e., Xandros-flavor KDE rather than the dumbed-down Eee PC basic thing). Note the Haruhi Suzumiya wallpaper.

For a blog post

if you don't follow me on fb....

I scored I scored I scored I scored!

my first hockey goal ever!! Besides my team, who were amazingly as excited as I was, I actually had witnesses. The offspring and my best friend hobbit and her husband came out for a laugh.

They did the wave for me. that was 3 people in the crowd of 5.

I get to keep my puck

Comes with a bunch of stuff - bluetooth keyboard, mouse, VESA mount (if you want to mount it behind your display), power cords, 802.11 antenna, HDMI cable, etc.
