Completed this in 2001 during my senior year at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Editorial design project where I was teamed up with a photography student and had to design a page spread and cover for an article titled, Invisible Girl.

I took these photographs last week and I had no idead what to do with them, I guess I was just experimenting.
I've been trying to organize some shoots so I can have new work to upload but it is the hardest thing, I actually hate it. Lets see what happens.

But I am human.
and just like everything else I will die too.
This is very similar to a composition a did a few years ago with other photographs. They all belong in a series.

In Designing News, award-winning editorial and infographics designer Francesco Franchi conveys his vision for the future of the news and media industries. He evaluates the fundamental changes that are taking place in our digital age in terms of consumer expectations and the way media is being used. The book then outlines the challenges that result and proposes strategies for traditional publishing houses, broadcasting companies, journalists, and designers to address them.
Designing News explores how today’s media outlets can become credible, cross-platform news brands. Franchi advocates redefining reporting as telling a continuous narrative across a broad range of traditional and digital media. To this end, he proposes a new, integrated role for editorial designers in advancing the evolution of media for the future.
Franchi’s findings in Designing News are based on his own work for Il Sole 24 ORE as well as case studies by top media insiders including Bloomberg Businessweek’s Richard Turley, Thomson Reuters’s Daniele Codega, the New York Times’s Steve Duenes, the Times’s Matt Curtis, and type designer Christian Schwartz.

Este proyecto continúa con la línea de cuadernos que edita el estudio, en esta ocasión es un cuaderno de notas que puede ser personalizado por el usuario utilizando la retícula semiperforada de 5 x 7 cuadrados de la portada, esta retícula se repite en las páginas interiores para hacer pruebas o simplemente como líneas de apoyo para tomar notas, la retícula también se ha utilizado como matriz generadora de signos a partir de la cual se ha creado la tipografía utilizada en el cuaderno. En el interior se han encartado una serie de imágenes de algunos cuadernos "usados".
