40mm or 1.5" in diameter, as the other pieces are/will be... and no skimping on the silver here! It's a weighty piece, using a full 20g Silver metal clay.
The Liver of Sulfur patina is applied and is permanent for everyday wear, but also can be removed when heated under a propane torch.

This print is Twins up in Blue. It is a copper etching, intaglio monoprint, with chine colle.
The process for this is etching the plate and I have used rice glue for the weaved tissue behind the girls and for their dresses as well. the tissue and dresses are put down on the paper upside down and then the plate is printed ontop and it all sticks down. This is a series of monoprints and not an editon. I printed these twins about 12 times all on different back drops.
