Now, I'm not one to toot my own horn.... BUT....

My sister's boss needed a photo for a national whippet magazine but unfortunately didn't want to pay me to take it. So my sister takes the picture on her nikon coolpix and then sends it to me to edit.

And like I said, I don't like to toot my own horn but... TOOT TOOT.

Didn't get paid and won't get credit but, I'm satisfied.

Oh, in case you didn't realize, my edit is on the left and the original is on the right.

Edited the closest post to remove torchlight.

Round two of practice.

All SOOC, no edits.

This time I tried closer and lower lighting. Tried to feather the light too, and then ended up with the light slightly pointing toward the subjects.

Shot mostly at 1/4 power.

We only had one tree topping ornament and it went on the live tree. I found a pumpkin head so it went on the pseudo Christmas tree.
