Edited photo of my Lurcher. After opening my photograph in Adobe CS6 Photoshop, the first step I took to begin editing was using the patch tool. I used this tool to remove some dirt from her fur. Secondly as I wanted to brighten her eyes slightly I used the pen tool, I then selected the path and altered the brightness and contrast. I put the brightness as 14 and contrast as 85, then repeated the same for the other eye with the same levels on brightness and contrast. Although the left eye isn't quite as bright as the right, it still works as the light is coming from this side of her head so they'd never be the same. Thirdly, again I used the brightness and contrast to alter the look of the whole image, I brought back a lot of colours that before were slightly washed out. I put the brightness as -42 and contrast as 27. Then I used levels to gain a slightly deeper effect, I put the input levels to; 14, 1.00 and 255. The final step I took was to alter the colour balance, I put the levels to +20, +12 and +58.
