Trying out the Ricoh Gr finally. Edited in silver efex pro2

Here are the steps if I was not clear:

1. Take your photo on a white, curved poster in an area with high light (I take my photos outside or near a window).

2. Upload your picture to iPhoto.

3. Turn up the exposure until it is almost completely white in the background.

4. Play around with the different levels to make your photo look as clear and high quality as possible.

And your done!

I've completely run out of pictures to edit, and am having a very relaxing, lethargic weekend, so naturally I've decided to go back through some old pictures and completely re do them . A lot of these pictures I had no idea how to create what I wanted before, and it's pretty awesome seeing my style change. Sorry for the impending influx of old pictures, but they'll be new edits, and that's always exciting!

A re-edit of a photo that I took over 15 years ago with my Canon PowerShot S60 in the first year that I owned it. The S60 launched me on a decade and a half career as a photographer. Revisiting the image, I made adjustments in Photoshop and applied a lookup table in Luminar 4.

A re-edit of a photo that I took over 11 years ago with a mighty Canon EF 85mm F/1.2L USM that a friend rented and let me borrow for one evening. The 85L is one of those magic lenses that lives up to and even exceeds the hype surrounding it. Revisiting the image, I de-noised it using a Topaz plugin in Photoshop, made adjustments and applied a lookup table in Luminar 4.

I don't like the edit at the smoke part that much but it's my first try ='') !

this was my 3rd newborn session... I'm just a beginner, but still proud of my work as i am self (internet) taught :)

As you can tell by all my other photos, i've had a hard time getting the beautiful creamy skin tones the pros seem to get, all today i was trying to learn how to do them better and this is as good as my editing gets...

any tips or pointers in the direction of any tutorials on it, i would really appreciate!! :) i'd also welcome any (kind) CC on this to help me get better, thanks so much!
