It took like an hour to do this XD I'm not super happy with the second cup part, but i'm satisfied with the overall product.

Nothing particularly special in this edit, but I though you might like to see the development.
After the RAW adjustments I opened this up in Photoshop, here's what I've done:
Curves adjustment layer to the scene
Levels adjustment layer to pick out the details in the car - painted mask
Road has a B&W adjustment layer, and a Levels to boost the contrast
Plus cleaning and a touch of brush work
Shot with Natural light only plus a Circular Polariser.

This is a re-edit of my favourite photo I took back in March. It still pops up in my recent history with some new comments or fav's every now and then.. So now that I've been trying out layering textures, I thought I'd give this a photo a go. I used about 5 different textures.. probably a bit too many.. but I like how it turned out. And yep. It still makes me sad.

View On Black - looks pretty good.
Still for Jess.
A photo I took 14 years ago with a silly 3 facet prism and ...based on the (lack of) EXIF data, one of my manual focus M42 lenses. I Do. Not. Remember. which one (you'll have to forgive me, 2008 was a little while back.) Based on the FoV, I strongly suspect it was my Asahi Super-Takuma 35mm F/3.5. The relatively slow aperture of that 35mm would explain my need to bump up the ISO to 3200 in a situation where normally I'd get away with ISO1600 or lower. Also, I vaguely recall that the prism filter I used was the same mm size as the fitting on the Asahi. Looking at other photos I took with the prism around the same time confirm my suspicions.
Revisiting the photo, I denoised it using Topaz DeNoise AI (it's ISO3200 on an EOS 30D after all) and adjusted the contrast a bit. TBH the prism filter is a silly toy and I only used it a handful of times. The photo itself is not terrible, but would probably be better without the prism.
I had the pleasure of working with this young lady her name is Giovanna and as you can see she is a true beauty and a natural in front of the lens... I will be working with her in the next few months to finish up her shoot...
