Back again with another Head to Head battle of RAW editing between Greg and Jared. This weeks photo is an interior shot captured with the Nikon D3000 and Nikon 14-24 2.8 taken in Italian restaurant. You will get your chance to edit and upload this RAW file with us, read below for details.
This is a tough photo to edit as you have to decide if you are going to let the windows blow out or try to balance the inside light with outside. I chose to focus on getting the inside processing to where I wanted and let outside blow out. I can say that my edit this week goes snap crackle pop and you will be surprised which slider I actually used.
Greg decide to go with balancing the light inside and out as much as possible. His edit resulted in a more realistic feel which looks like what you would see if you walked in yourself.
It always is a toss up but let us know which edit you prefer. Mine (Jared) which goes bam bam pow or Greg's which goes "hello I look like I should probably look".

I created this image to show clients the difference between a raw file, a color corrected file, and a fully edited image.
Later than usual, the L517 clears the northern switch at Cardigan Jct. Thanks to Douglas for telling me about this tick-infested spot to get the shot. Edited

Yet again, I've revises some of my cars. The Acro Uträtta and Nikolai Cougar SS utilize a canopy that prevents a sloped hood, therefor somewhat ruining the sleek appearance. You can solve this by part modificatoin, or a jumper plate utilizing method pioneered by Tommy N. the Acro hasn't changed alot, but the Nikolai is friggin' huge now with that spoiler added on.
Firstly i cropped the image so there was no dead space and it was just the pigeon. I then started off by messing around the magic wand on the tiles and decided to change them about and make them look more interesting. I kept changing each individual tile to a different gradient to make them look stand out. I then used the lasso tool around the pigeon and enhanced the pigeon by making the contrast better and then turning the brightness down a bit too.
yanti and redzuan reception..

I am my own self expression...
I think the piece speaks for itself.
Today I got really sick so I decided to do some editing of yesterday's photo as some sort of therapy to make up for the fact that I was couped up in my apt the whole day.
The silhouette is a bit hard to pick out at first, and some people thought that I just photoshopped a pen haha. Take a closer look :)
