The living room as it is now, with an appreciable amount of furniture edited from the room. We removed an armoire, an occasional table, a floor reading lamp, and an upholstered arm chair from the space to make for cleaner lines and a sleeker, less cluttered look.

I've been messing around using Paint and GIMP trying to edit in cool effects for my starfighters. Here is a step-by-step picture showing how I got to the bottom one. Any thoughts on what doesn't look right and ideas on improvement are welcome. I know some of you have been doing this a lot longer than I have.

oh how i wish

a. my arm was not in this

b. i had the "view on black" thing so you all could see it large.

it looks splendid on it.

Editing white shark photos aboard the Solmar V after a day of diving.

Edited photo of an iPhone. I used Adobe CS6 Photoshop to edit this photograph. After opening the image of the phone and the ice, I dragged the ice on top of the phone. I then resized the image so it fit the back of the phone, Thirdly I changed the blending mode to Hard Light so the ice was transparent. Then using the eraser tool I erased all the ice that wasn't necessary. I used the Field Blur effect after to blend the ice in with the phone, I set the blur to 8px. As there was dead space at the top of the image that I wasn't happy with I used the Crop Tool to remove it. The next step I took was to alter the Brightness and Contrast, I put the brightness to -38 and contrast to 44. To make the phone look more intense I used levels, I put the input levels to 29, 1.24 and 255. My final step was to use colour balance to create a slightly more 'icey' feel, I put the colour levels to -36, -12 and +31. This was my final outcome.
