My 11 year old just discovered PicMonkey for photo editing so he edited a picture of mine adding the sunburst to the sky. I say let him play! I have never used PicMonkey before.....I just might have to dabble in it for the heck of it. Photo taken at the Wings & Wheels air and car show this summer in Osceola WI.

Yes, that's me in the picture! :) It shows that I have some work to do when it comes to my own makeup ;) Well, at least I'll try to start with some of the things that Cindy did in my makeover :)

A few days ago I received my latest Olumpus Pen F lens.... and it's one I've been looking for for a very long time! It's the 70mm f2.0. I think this is going to become my favourite Pen F telephoto lens. It so light and compact, and it's a very convient focal length for picking out architectural details. Plus it seems plenty sharp and the aperture is fast enought for some satifying bokeh effects.

And here you can see the first results... what do you think?

I know the distortion caused by the wide-angle lens is way too much, but I don't care – I still like this one!

My iMac and Canon scanner are getting a workout nowadays. Just got back from Japan and have about 20 rolls of negatives and slides to edit.

So better stock up on some beers, maybe a bottle or two of California reds, and, of course, music from vinyls and CDs to fill the room. Oh, I can't forget the avocados for some guacamole and chips just in case all of these becomes repetitive and boring .
