Construido en la década de 1930 y con 13 pisos de altura, fue el primer rascacielos de Chile. También tuvo el primer ascensor. En la "escafandra" que corona la torre aun hay marcas de balas del golpe militar de 1973.

The Edificio Generali, located at the intersection of Passeig de Gràcia and Gran Via in Barcelona, was designed by architect Lluís Bonet i Garí and constructed between 1942 and 1950. Originally built as the headquarters for Banco Vitalicio de España, it was among the city's first skyscrapers and remained its tallest building until the late 1960s. Today, this prominent example of Rationalist architecture stands as a historic landmark in the Eixample district.
