‘SUNRISE OR DEPARTURE’ - EMIRATES SYDNEY AIRPORT
What’s your favourite, A6-EVJ doing the long slow taxi out to 34L at Sydney Airport (SYD/YSSY), or getting ectoplasm whilst airborne 34L Sydney Airport (SYD/YSSY) as EK415 to Dubai (DXB/OMDB)???
(Luckily, a clear road to get from ‘The Beach’ across to Sheps Mound, and traffic holding the A380 departure)

Try to stare at this image... let your eyes flirt with your imagination...
Do you see it ?
It raised the hair on the back of my neck...
:-)
Just a little note: This is incense smoke. No cigarette! :-)

from the grey walls of the over grown house, abandoned and forgotten the house and its memories crates its own ectoplasm of the long forgotten woman who resided there.. entwinged with both the brush and bush of the garden to the very stonework..

Grotesque art
As I walked down the hill I saw a sudden plume of smoke come from a doorway. As I passed it I saw Emily sat on the step. I walked back up the hill a way and turned to see if I could capture what I'd first seen. But she stood up and made to leave, "Oh no", I said jokingly, "you've ruined my photograph". "I can sit down again if you like", she said and promptly did. She was lovely, we had an impromptu five minute photo session and she was a natural, interacting perfectly with the camera which loved her. We parted with a thank you and exchange of names.
I love these brief encounters that photography enables.
Our shamans, our rituals, our costumes and our drugs of transition are all still here - alcohol/MDMA - as everything changes and everything remains the same.
Melbourne Airport pre-dawn....
Was a low cloud, hazy cool morning, a bit of fluff/ectoplasm of the Emirates departure....
I thought I would just try something weird out.... 17 image stitch panorama, and whilst the original image is over 16000px wide and near 1GB as a TIFF file, this one is 4000px, and happy with how it turned out!!!
